Beatles Rockband has been out since September and I've still only just seen previews of it. >__< They even released special instrument controllers styled like their actual instruments to go with it. I COULD PLAY PAUL MCCARTNEY'S BASS GUITAR.
If I ever get rich, that will be the first thing I buy.
I haven't watched FMA: Brotherhood yet! Heard good things about it though, I'll have to see about finding the episodes online somewhere. I have all of the original FMA anime, which I love even though it isn't manga accurate.

I am right behind you on watching whole seasons at once. It's nice to have that kind of control. Supernatural! I loved the first couple seasons, but couldn't make it past #4. I kind of want the soundtrack to the first season, though - the boys have good taste in music.
Paul McCartney's guitar ^^ You sound like my guitar-collecting friend who raves about his latest acquisition as he explains to me which musician made it famous. These names do not stick. All I know is that he has moved from les pauls to telecasters for now. Something about the sound being better.

I've never stuck with an instrument long enough to be good at it, but if I ever DID it'd be bass guitar. My dad has a Hofner just like Paul McCartney's and it's pretty much the coolest thing ever.

Musicians can be very specific about their instruments, I've learned. Used to be married to a guitarteacher/freak, and he was very specific about the sound of particular instruments, and how to improve the ones he could afford. Me, I can cheat my way past a few chords on the guitar, and I'm happy if it sounds anything like it should. ^_^ As for Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, check out www.youtube.com/user/FMABrotherhood , it's a channel on YouTube that has all of the show uploaded and add the new ones continuois.... continou...contintin.. each week. Japanese with subtitles of your choice. <3 It's not as quick as some other sites, but it works for me, without interruptions and other annoyances. And because it has to be said, yes, them Supernatural boys have great taste in music. And I do love how Dean tends to find a use for the names of musicians from those kinds of bands, too. ^_^

I have yet to see Supernatural, but my best friend has been bugging me about it for a while now. He's finally actually bought the first season, so now it's inevitable. Either way, not there yet, but I expect to enjoy it immensely. Never got around to FMA, I tend to drift toward the less known stuff. Mushi-shi is freaking amazing if you don't require explosions for enjoyment. Was into Yu Yu Hakisho for a while, but it got repetative like a more epic Yugioh real fast. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was fantastic as well. And Naruto needs to be shot. I used to be able to play a couple songs on guitar, but the lessons stopped two cities ago and so did I. Now I just write songs vocally and beg chords off my more instrumentally inclined friends. ^_^ The extent of my knowledge of instrument worship itself is limited to QC

I saw some Mushi-shi episodes when it was on Hulu... I may have to go in search of some more. They were pretty good. I don't often run across anime without lengthy action sequences that I tolerate well, to my dismay. Ghost Hunt had a similar feel to it, if I remember correctly. I wish they'd made more of those, too.
Amen to putting an end to Naruto...that got old fast. I've recently started watching Fairy Tale, which I find fun (but it has explosions and is, perhaps, dangerously similar to the Naruto/OnePiece/ect-type stories).

I'll put both on my list of things to check out at the least.
Ghost in the Shell anyone? I'm crazy in love with it, but I've only seen first gig and most of second gig but the first season alone is mind blowing.

*saves link and makes note to watch FMA: Brotherhood after Heroes*
Ohh man I have GOT to finish watching Ghost in the Shell. I love it, but I never bought it and for some reason I never watch it online, so I only ever see more of it when I hang out with my friend who has the DVDs. It's awesome.

It is SO freaking aweseome! My only problem is I have a crappy memory so I have to watch either series all at once or I'll forget important sidenotes like who's angsting about what why.

Oh, you're fairly well blended as long as you say something about anime or british commedy or video games. You're here and that's good enough. ^_^
Glad to see you. Who wants pancakes?

Haha yeah, I noticed how much love Dr. Who was getting in here ^^ Unfortunately I've ever only seen a few episodes, but man were they great! And a bit scary too, eheh... I only started watching just last year actually, and when Muse came out with Uprising I got all excited because I could recognize the theme...
Anyway, oohoo! I'd love pancakes o: You know, one gets tired of cookies after a while, so this is nice... I should offer artichokes next. Or is that pushin' it a little ;P
