I actually toss more German around instead of Spanish, not that I speak very much of either. XD The homework hasn't been too bad so far, but I'm sure it'll get worse...

I thought I knew a little bit of Spanish until I started working full time with two native speakers. They start talking to each other and all I can pick up is "and", "good", and "antibody". And that last one is only because it translates into half-english/half-spanish.

Heh, I have a similair problem. The jump between spanish 2 and spanish 3 is really throwing me off. From a really nice laid back teacher to a really interesting laid back teacher who wants to say everything in slightly slurred spanish. -_-'
So out of curiosity, what's the strangest breakfast you guys have ever had? Since I got into my new apartment, my usual's been applesauce, cold fish sticks, waffles, and hot chocolate. Occasionally my sister makes eggs.

Hm, I haven't had anything too outlandish for breakfast... the school I go to serves something really weird for breakfast, it's like, a corn dog, only it's made out of sausage and pancakes instead of cornbread and a hot dog.

I don't believe in the necessity traditional breakfasts, but I can't say I go as outlandish as combining cold fish sticks with waffles. I have done ham sandwiches, cold pizza, or mushroom ravioli. Actually, my favorite breakfast is cheerios mixed with peanut butter, some chocolate syrup, some blackberries, and a dash of milk. But that's a rare and highly fattening treat.
I've heard of these sausages wrapped in pancakes of which you speak, Plat. I think MickyD's or Burger King had some commercials about them a couple years back. They sound gross.

I tend to wake up around noon, so my breakfast is usually lunch. I like to eat more traditional breakfast food around midnight; there's just something about late night cereal that's so appealing.

Awesome. And these sausages in pancakes are probably a re-take on the traditional "pigs in a blanket" that are actually acceptably traditional breakfast food. I can't say that midnight cereal has ever been my thing, but neither is cereal as a whole. Except in very strange moods. The cheerios concoction? sounds monstrous. Ever tried mixing ketchup with a frosty to dip frechfries in? Seriously, just a dollop of frosty and a packet of ketchup. Also, honey on cold chicken nuggets is THE SHIT. AND FURTHER (I am up way to early this morning, just popped out of bed) I know I'm probably about to be stoned (as per usual) but I was raised on Grease 2. Didn't see Grease until 8th grade and kinda hated it. But I think the second one totally rocks. (Stephanie was possibly my first girl crush..... after Misty from Pokemon that is)

I have had frenchfries + frosty and that is AMAZING (now I might have to get some today) but I have not yet attempted ketchup in combination with this. That sounds... like it might end in tears. I might try a little bit in order to say that I have. Honey on chicken nuggets? I will eat honey on any food. That sounds tasty.
But I can't say I've ever seen Grease 2. I think I was at one point coerced into watching the original during college as part of my pop culture education and I remember it being okay.
Also >.> Pokemon. Never could get into that. Maybe I missed the age curve, but it always seemed....repetitive...and... the villains were highly annoying.

NONSENSE!! .... I really liked the first series, I had a crush on James from Team Rocket, Misty was the shit and ASH NEVER HIT PUBERTY!! ... okay, so I wasn't happy about the last one. OR when suddenly there weren't 150 (151 because of mewtwo). I had those bitches MEMORIZED! I could sing the poke-rap. But Johto?? Fuck it.
And yeah, you probably just missed the age curve. I also got a bonus because I watched it with my kid brother.
All fast food restaurants used to offer honey. But due to what I can only assume is budget cuts, they haven't in the past several years. Fuckers. That's fine. I prefer my nuggets cold anyway.
Grease 2 is also the shit.

I've never seen Grease 2, so I can't say whether or not I think it's good or bad, but I generally disapprove of sequels so I dunno. I've seen original Grease like a billion times though; when I graduated high school one of my uncles brought the soundtrack to my after party so now whenever I hear any of it it reminds me of singing Summer Loving in my living room.
Aaaand I also was never into Pokemon. I watched a little of the show as a teenager just because it was on, but it never really captured my interest.

An intro thread that's mainly chatter. That's kind of refreshing.
Anyway, hello everyone. I am Mecha Toaster. I enjoy long walks in the city on my way to raid bakeries, making toast, and defeating Mecha Waffle Iron in dishonorable combat. And I'll leave it at that, since I have a habit of going on and on in introduction threads.
