aaargh! I'm not used to watching things one episode at a time! Amy pulls a crazy stunt like that and then "come back next week for a resolution...and, oh yes, vampires!" >.> I need to find someone to corrupt into watching this so that I have someone to ruminate with. Anybody have a guess on what made the crack? Would the disappearing planets at the end of season 4 play in? Somehow, that doesn't seem sufficient... I almost think that HE is responsible for the crack, or at least responsible for whatever caused it. He's been taunted about it twice now - first by Prisoner Zero and now by the Angels - because he doesn't know about it, like he SHOULD know about it. Aaaand I'm pretty sure the Weeping Angels became my favorite aliens in this last episode. (Also I am very displeased with Amy now >_>)

XDD Maaan, Amy is awesome. She's just done what I think every companion has wanted to do since Billie Piper's first episode <3 Couple that with the Doctor's unbearable discomfort and it becomes even more awesome XD Also, God damn, the Weeping Angels are damn scary. Their flashing approach during the gunfire in the corridor? Jeeeezzz... x____o And poor Bishop Octavian! He was awesome~ Though, I do still wonder why they couldn't break the stone arm around his throat... Perhaps they're unbreakable? :l Also the crack... definitely some creepy stuff going on there. Not sure what to think about it just now. However, I'm even more curious as to why Amy (and presumably the rest of the human race) don't remember the Daleks... no doubt that's something connected to the crack and the whole re-writing of time... Woooo~ Awesome series so far And the next episode seems like a heap of shits and giggles XD

Except Donna. XDD God I loved Donna.
I was wondering too why they couldn't just break the stone arm off. Just because something's made of stone doesn't mean it's completely indestructible, they should still be breakable somehow....
The part where the angels actually MOVED creeped me the hell out. I got so used to them just magically changing positions, when they started turning their heads it was like ohhhholyshit. >_<

Ohhh man. Moving angels probably would've frightened me a lot more, if it weren't for the circumstances and a friend of mine XD We created a little dialogue... *Amy trips* Angel Bob: "...Dude. Is she blind?" Angel Steve: "Looks like it." Bob: "Then... why are we... y'know -- stone?" Steve: "Dunno mate." Bob: "I'm gonna turn around." Steve: "Risky move pal..." *turn* Bob: "Hey look! It worked! She's not looking!" Steve: "Fuckin' A! Let's eat 'er! " ...and that's when Angels were demoted a notch on my nightmare list XD

lol! I may have to watch it again just so I can play that dialog in my head. It's kind of bugging me that they were ripping peoples' nervous systems out when they are supposed to just be sending them 50 years into the past and eating their would-be energy. (they also changed his screwdriver's abilities...which is also bugging me a little)
So... I guess maybe if it's the doctor's fault and he doesn't know about it, then it's in the future (though that wouldn't explain how prisoner 1 new about it... unless...) Maybe when they snapped the time lords back into their little time bubble, they also snapped time...oooohhhh I think I found my theory (o:
I miss Donna. She would've made an awesome doctor.

XDD Well there goes my taking them seriously.
Maybe the not-sending-them-into-the-past thing also has something to do with the crack? Since it's altering time somehow and that relies on time travel... I have no idea.
It could be in his personal future while being in the actual past. Could have to do with what happened to the Time Lords too. Could be ANYTHING.
I miss Donna too. >__< I sorta wish they'd rigged it so she could've had at least one or two episodes with him as Doctor/Donna, that would've been so awesome. XD

Just want to say: Vampire episode = disappointing )o: *sigh* I guess anything after the angels would have been a little bit of a letdown. Maybe.

Love the Doctor for getting Rory and forcing them on a date. XD I love his reaction to Amy's infatuation all around.
So is Earth the only planet left in the universe that can sustain life? Sure seems so with all these other races that are always coming here to repopulate. I'd like to see an episode that doesn't have any other humans in it at ALL, unless we're just so spread out that that's impossible. It's like you can't throw a rock in space without hitting some humans.

lol! Come to think of it, I can't recall an episode where there weren't any humans - even when the doctor is alone... we spread like an infection, I guess. Even the episode where they watched Earth burn had that trampoline with lips in it. We/they are definitely pretty anthropocentric.
I'm glad to see her interest in Rory isn't just because he was there and the Doctor wasn't. *crosses fingers* Hope this plan goes on working.

*needs to catch up to Britain*
I've only seen as far as BBC America's aired, meaning I watched the first of the Angel episodes yesterday. To the point in the first post... My dad thinks that the Doctor is responsible for The Crack, as well. I'm not so sure, but it may have something to do with the Time Lords bouncing around the time lock.
And everyone seems to miss Donna, and I can't blame them... she was AWESOME. (I'll be catching up tomorrow at some point.)

RZ and I already talked about this, but I totally want to see the Doctor have a dude as a companion next. I love him and Rory when Amy isn't around, it's just guys without that romantic tension.
I mean, he keeps complaining about his companions falling for him, but he keeps on picking these pretty young ladies! If he really wants someone who isn't going to complicate things, he should pick some guy who'll just travel with him for the sake of traveling.

It's an obvious solution. When they first started the show, they told everyone the girl was his daughter so they wouldn't have to deal with this sort of thing - and there was generally enough of an age gap between the doctor and his companion to keep the tension to a minimum. With our doctors getting younger, though, I think it's getting worse. He's going to have to stop discriminating against the dudes pretty soon ^^

(O.O) Rory... *tear* I am shocked and appalled.
And now we are right back where we started a couple of episodes ago... or possibly in an even more delicate situation...
I guess he wasn't incredibly well-rounded-out, but I felt like they spent an awful lot of time on him just to... *sigh* And after all that character building in the last couple of episodes.

hhmmmm..... I think I'm a tad behind. I FINALLY saw everything BBC America had to offer in a marathon yesterday and now I'm worried.
Agreed, Donna was the closest solution he'd get to picking a new chick that didn't want to jump his bones. At least Amy didn't want him FOREVER, just for funsies.
I'm a big fan of Amy and ending as I have on the vampires, my current theory is that however the cracks started, they're now all in ANOTHER alternate. That or Amy is a broken god.
Continuing, I was actually pretty disappointed with the angels. I think the freezing then moving slowly is bogus. They move IMPOSSIBLY fast and should have just jumped her WHILE SHE HAD HER FACE TO THE GROUND. I realize some effect might have been lost with afternoon sun and commercial breaks but... still! Seriously, guys! Have we forgotten what the Angels ARE?! (Polite, terrifying assassins, that's what!)

Okay that was a horrible, horrible episode. I really liked Rory.
I have this strange feeling though that Amy will remember him eventually... there's some significance in the engagement ring, and now I'm wondering if her wedding dress will still be in her room when she goes back home. I dunno, the glance at the jewelry box made it seem like it wasn't the end just yet.
